The DVD-P721M integrates digital audio and video like no DVD player before it, offering not merely high-tech features like progressive-scan video and 3:2 pulldown, but a dedicated Memory Stick port that makes this the ideal companion for Sony digital cameras and MP3 players. Video Features The progressive-scan output is king of this unit’s video features, but keep in mind that you’ll need a high-definition or HD-ready TV to appreciate its benefits. (The included S-video and composite-video outputs work just fine with older TVs, however.) Progressive scanning displays all 480 video lines in one pass to provide strong vertical resolution and flicker-free, high-density images. Likewise, 3:2 pulldown is a videophile treat. dont waste your money
Worst DVD player I have every encountered. Not even worth the $39 price. DVDs don’t play, remote only works if you stand inches from the player. Absolutely awful.

Good for DVDs only
This DVD player played my DVDs just fine, but it had big problems with Audio CDs and Photo CDs.For DVDs, it works well.

Economical DVD player to have.
