Samsung DVD-P241 Progressive-Scan DVD Player

Samsung’s DVD-P241 features high-end progressive-scan component-video outputs, built-in MP3 decoding for your home-brewed CD compilations, and even compatibility with JPEG image CDs and Kodak Picture CDs. Now you can enjoy a slideshow of your digital pictures right on your television. Whether your living room is currently home to an HDTV or you’re merely thinking of “someday,” the DVD-P241 stands ready to deliver the full potential of your DVDs. Progressive scanning, referred to as 480p for the number of horizontal lines that compose the video image, creates a picture using twice the scan lines of a conventional DVD picture, giving you higher resolution and sharper images while eliminating nearly all motion artifacts. Looking for a replacement
Pretty easy to set up and use, but it stalls half the time. I generally prefer to watch movies WITHOUT it locking up every 5-10 minutes.
