Love this upconverting DVD player This little DVD player has everything I was looking for. Mainly, the upconverting functionality and optical audio output. Great bang for the buck value also.

You get what you paid for. I really wish this dvd player would support upconverted movies via component. If you don't have a tv with an hdmi input then you might as well buy a regular pergressive scan dvd...

Shuts off for no reason I have had this player for 3 months. It worked fine during this period, and the picture quality was decent given the price.

Horrible. Worked fine for two months. Now, it shuts off ALL THE TIME, for no reason. Constant need to reset the thing. Junk.

Avoid Samsung products. I have the same problems with this player that many of the other reviews here and on other sites are pointing out.

HD860, a good buy I had an old progressive scan DVD player by Memorex. That older player gave a good picture on 720p hd at 480p.

so very disappointed We loved this DVD player for the first 6 months, then it the power started shutting off randomly. I did every troubleshooting thing I could think of, and came up with nothing.
